Our goal is to reduce breast cancer death in
Mohave County, Arizona.
Together we’re saving lives!
Thanks to grants and community donations, we offer free breast cancer
screening to thousands of Mohave County women each year.
In 2020, 82 local women were diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer through our program. When breast cancer is discovered early, most people survive to live full, active lives.

Finding breast cancer early is crucial
Breast cancer begins when cells located in the breast start to grow out of control. In time, these abnormal cells can invade other tissues and organs in the body. If not detected and treated in time, breast cancer kills. But, if breast cancer is discovered and treated while the cancer cells are still confined in the breast, most people survive to live full, active lives.
